Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand
As Managing Director for MWH Global in Australia and New Zealand, Mark Bruzzone is responsible for guiding the strategy and management of the firm’s urban water, water resources, transportation, oil and gas, mining, program management and sustainability and environment businesses. His work in this role is grounded in his technical capability and is bolstered by his extensive leadership and management experience.
Mark joined MWH in 2001 as a principal process engineer and subsequently served as engineering group manager before transitioning into business development and strategy roles. He previously worked for Australia’s largest water utility, Sydney Water Corporation, which provides drinking water, wastewater and stormwater services to Sydney, Illawarra and the Blue Mountains.
Throughout his career, Mark has exhibited a keen understanding of organisational dynamics and strategic development, and has placed a focus on the development of internal systems and processes to achieve alignment and produce positive, measurable results. He believes in the principle of continuous improvement and works to develop himself and others in order to grow the business and industry as a whole.
Mark earned his bachelor and master degrees in engineering from the University of New South Wales and holds a master of business administration from University of New South Wales Australian Graduate School of Management. Mark is based in Sydney, Australia.
